Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

The 2 Lancasters failed to make it to Dartmouth so there was only the 2 Spitfires in the display.
On the right MKXVI  TE311 built in 1945.
On the left LFIX  MK 356 built in 1944.

STAR MINERVA

She returned to Torbay 25/8/2014  from Bremen part loaded for further underwater inspection.
She left 25/8/2014 for Camden, New Jersey.

CAPE RAY

1977 / 31,236gt  Built as Seaspeed Asia then renamed Saudi Makkah in 1981 and aquired by
 United States Ready Reserve Force in 1993 and renamed Cape Ray. She is enroute from the
 Med to Hamina, Finland and then to Bremen, Germany and boarded a deepsea pilot at
 Brixham 25/8/2014.

CONMAR ELBE

2001 / 6191gt 707 teu Ex Euro Storm 2012 and owned by Conmar Shipping, Germany. She
arrived in Torbay 20/8/2014 from Rotterdam for an underwater inspection.

AZAMARA JOURNEY

2000 / 30,277gt  Owned by Azamara Club Cruises, USA and originally built as Renaissance
Cruises R SIX. She is on a Round Britain Cruise and arrived at Dartmouth from the Isles of
Scilly 18/8/2014 and anchored in the mouth of the River Dart. She sailed to St. Peter Port.

MORNING LAURA

2010 / 70687gt 8000 cars Owned by Eukor Car Carriers,S.Korea.She was enroute from
Djen Djen, Algeria to Southampton and boarded a deep sea pilot off Brixham 16/8/2014.
She anchored off the Isle of Wight for 9 days never went into Southampton then sailed to
Antwerp.

when she boarded 2 technicians and stores from the pilot boat off Brixham 16/8/2014.

Built in 1957 / 791gt by J&K Smit as the Dutch tug Clyde, She was converted to private yacht
in 2002. She arrived in Dartmouth from Mevagissey 14/8/2014 and sailed that evening
 for Guernsey.

St. Petersburg to Valletta, Malta and took shelter 9/8/2014 in Babbacombe Bay, Torquay from
 the remmants of Hurricane Bertha. She sailed 11/8.

based at Falmouth but came up to Torbay as the dive boat for the underwater inspection of
Bro Distibutor.
