CHINA PRIDE

This was the second ship,built in 2011 / 91,373 gt 177,856 dwt and owned by Chinese Maritime
Transport,Taiwan.She was enroute from Ijmuiden to Santa Marta,Columbia to load iron ore and
landed her deep sea pilot at Brixham 31/7/2015.

MSC MANU

MTS piloted 2 ships in quick succession this morning,the first was MSC Manu 1989 / 52141gt
4814 teu.She was built for Seaspan and chartered to Maersk as Margrethe Maersk and renamed
Maersk Matane in 2006 and chartered to  MSC in 2011 and given her present name.She was
 enroute from Hamburg to Caucedo.Dominican Republic and came to Brixham to land an
 overcarried Elbe river pilot 31/7/2015.

POMMERN

1994 / 2061gt owned by Wessels,Germany.She is seen sailing round in a circle in
 Babbacombe Bay on her way from Ringaskiddy to Teignmouth 30/7/2015 to
load clay for Castellon.

STAVROS S NIARCHOS

2000 / 495gt Brig rigged sail training ship owned by the Tall Ships Youth Trust.
She had sailed from Portsmouth and anchored in Torbay off Torquay 30/7/2015.
She sailed 31/7 to Salcombe.

1998 / 2997gt owned by Stralmann,Germany.She is enroute from Chatham to Barreiro
and sheltered just outside Torbay  28/7/2015.Moved into Babbacombe Bay 29/7 and sailed

This morning she sailed from Dartmouth to Teignmouth.She is the first cruise ship to
visit the port.Tonight she sails to Portland.

1964 / 2112gt owned by Hebridean Island Cruises,UK.She was built as the car ferry Columba
for Cal-Mac and converted to a cruise ship in 1989 and renamed.She has 29 cabins and 49 berths
and is on an 8 night Grand Celtic Cruise starting at Oban and finishing at Portland.She came from
Fowey to Dartmouth 21/7/2015.

2007 / 95,820gt Managed by NYK LNG Shipmanagement UK Ltd and chartered to
Rasgas.She loaded at Ras Laffan, Qatar and boarded a deep sea pilot at Brixham
for Zeebrugge 18/7/2015.

2012 / 141,635 gt 13092 teu owned by E.R. Schiffahrt,Germany and chartered to
Meditteranean Shipping Company, Switzerland. She is inbound from Tangermed
for Southampton on the 2M Alliance Condor service from the Far East to
N.Europe.She sailed to Le Havre.

2012 / 141,770 gt 12562 teu owned by Danaos and chartered to Hyundai,S.Korea.
She is inbound from Hamburg to Southampton passing Calshot 7/7/2015.She sailed

2015 / 175,688gt 17,722 teu  owned by CMA CGM, France.She arrived at Southampton
from Algeciras on her maiden voyage from China to N.Europe.She is the second in the
class of 6 and is passing Calshot on her way to Hamburg 7/7/2015.
