At Plymouth are 2 Norwegian Skjold Class Corvettes on FOST. They are air cushioned
catamarans 260 tons Full Load with 4 gas turbines driving 2 waterjets giving a top speed
of 60 knots which makes them the fastest warships in the World. They are armed with a
76mm Oto Melara gun and have 2 x quad Kongsberg anti ship missile launchers recessed
in the aft deck.
Storm entered service in 2010.
