Part 2 was Zulu 48 to celebrate the Clun Castle 50th Anniversary with 5043 hualing
6 coaches + 2 service coaches from Plymouth to Oxford.

D1015 WESTERN CHAMPION

Today Vintage Trains ran a 2 part special. D1015 hauled the Western Lickeys the Banks from
Solihull to Plymouth with 10 coaches and returned with 4 coaches to Tyseley. Somebody paid
£1015 for 2 tickets and to have D1017 Western Warrior plates fitted on one side for this charter.

Nunney Castle No 5029 climbed the Dainton Bank today with the Anniversary Limited which
celebrated the 50th Annversary of the fastest recorded time from Plymouth to Bristol set by
Clun Castle in 1964.Today's train was steam hualed from Westbury to Plymouth and back
to Bristol.
