the South East India - Europe Express ( IEX ) Service which is operated by Hapag

 Lloyd,ONE,Yang Ming and Cosco and was bound from Piraeus to Rotterdam when

 she boarded her deepsea pilot at Brixham today.

This shot shows the wind deflector which is going to be trialed on 6 of these ships.

1/10/22.She  was repainted and had a wind deflector fitted and a srubber alongside 

the existing the funnel.She is on her first voyageas a ONE ship and operates on the

 FE2 Service and was bound from Rotterdam to Singapore when she landed her 

 deepsea pilot at Brixham about midday.She then proceeded  into Lyme Bay and

 anchored  to shelter.

slow steam sheltered in Lyme Bay.She was 4 miles south of Marine Drive about to

enter a squall.

She was bound from London Gateway to Jeddah when she landed her deepsea pilot at

 Brixham yesterday evening and then sheltered in the Deepwater Anchorage.

Rolling well before she came in closer to pilot.

99 / 9233gt 850 cars.She was built as Feederpilot renamed Neckar Highway

in 2005 and in the last 6 days has been renamed Chang Shin the new owners 

are unknown.She was bound from Grimsby to Valletta when she landed her

 deepsea pilot at Brixham this afternoon.She had to come into the edge of the

Bay because she was rolling too much and then piloted in a squall.These pictures

were taken as she came out of the squall and passed  Berry Head.Another KESS

ship Main Highway was renamed Won Shin yesterday and is on her way to Malta.

Their new owners are Samjoo Maritime,S.Korea.

After spending the night steaming around Lyme Bay she anchored in 

Torbay at 0900 this morning to shelter.We have had 2 crane ships in the Bay

 in 3 weeks using 1966 and 1973 built containerships.She has 2 x twin 30 ton

 cranes mounted on the starboardside.

73 / 17,821gt.She was built as the containership Export Leader for American Export

Line and aquired by U S Military Sealift Command in 1988,She was renamed  and

 converted to an Auxilairy Crane Ship and is home based at Newport News.

I was hoping she was going to land a pilot here but she got to within 7 miles of

Berry Head when the picture was taken and turned around and headed back east.

She was bound from Nordenham to an unknown destination. 

Now she is slow steam sheltering around Lyme Bay.
