DEEPSEA METRO II

2011/ 51,283gt Drill Ship. She was owned by Chalfont Shipping but has now been sold to the
 Turkish Petroluem Conpany TPAO. She left Hoylandsbygda,Norway where she has been laid up
and is bound for Istanbul.She landed her deep sea pilot at Brixham 18/12/2017 at sunrise.

    Hi, I wonder if I might ask you a question. On the morning deepsea metro came in to Torbay I was listening to channel 9 and heard the Pilot Boat telling the drillship captain that a photographer was on board and would be taking a picture of the ship. Not wouldn't by any chance have been your good self I suppose? I live in Dawlish and enjoy watching all the big ships coming into the the bay. Anyway, happy spotting and happy New Year. Adam

    Hi Adam,
    Yes it was me. Sometimes when I'm on board , the pilot boat will call up the Captain to let him know we are going around the ship.Happy New Year. Rodge
